We just purchased the 1099-Etc software however, when filling out the 1099 forms it still reflects the old tax year. Do we need an update?

Every program year we update forms as soon as the software specifications are made available to us. So we have several updates throughout the year that you can download and install to receive the current forms. Most annual forms will be updated when we release the year-end version mid-to-late December.
