In most cases when this error occurs we have found that the customer was running the McAfee Virus scanning program. There is a setting in McAfee that does not allow any changes to files with certain extensions, regardless of users network rights. You will need to remove the setting (located in McAfee under File>Share>Folder Protection from the Access Protection Properties screen) for "Prevent remote creation/modification/deletion of files (.pif)".  For further information please contact AMS Technical support.
