I would like to import W-2 data from Excel into the 1099-Etc program. How do I do this? Is there a format or template I need to use for the Excel file?

To import from Excel, you must first save the Excel file as a Tab Delimited Text file. There is no set format, just make sure all pertinent data goes into the columnar file. The columns are mapped so that they go into the correct fields when imported.
