When the 1099 program opens up or I try to use the Download manager to download and update, I get a message "Cannot access AMS website." What does this mean?

In most cases, your firewall is preventing our software from accessing the download from our website. This message can be eliminated by changing your firewall setting and/or downloading our sofware from our website, www.1099-etc.com, bypassing the Download Manager altogether.
