We release the new tax year version in mid-March or early April. This allows us to update any new 1st quarter forms.
You may have noticed that after you installed the 4th quarter update, you are now getting prompted to select the tax year. This will allow you to enter the 1st quarter data in the last years program.
When you receive your 1st quarter update, it will allow you to simply transfer your data from the first quarter to the new tax year’s software. This way, you won’t have to re-key the data, and we have time to get the new forms from the various states.
Your new serial number and keycode will be included with the new software when it is shipped.
